Under the Blue Moon Soiree

The Under the Blue Moon Soirée is a premier annual event hosted by Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend, designed to celebrate the organization’s impact and rally community support. Held at the elegant Sawano Club in Quincy, Florida, the soirée offers an enchanting evening filled with live music, gourmet cuisine, and a premium open bar. This gathering brings together supporters, stakeholders, and community members to honor the achievements of the past year and renew their commitment to empowering local youth.

Beyond its festive atmosphere, the soirée serves as a critical fundraising opportunity, with proceeds directly benefiting the programs and services provided by Boys & Girls Clubs. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their finest attire and partake in an evening that not only entertains but also makes a meaningful difference in the lives of children and teens across the Big Bend region.

Mad Hatter Save the Date

Mad Hatter Mingle

The Mad Hatter Mingle is a whimsical, tea-themed luncheon that invites guests to “tumble down the rabbit hole” for an afternoon of fun and philanthropy. Hosted at the Tallahassee Women’s Club, the event features a handcrafted mimosa bar, a delightful lite luncheon prepared by Social Catering, and a dazzling fashion show spotlighting local boutiques. Attendees are encouraged to don their most creative hats for a chance to win fabulous door prizes in the Mad Hatter Hat contest.

This unique gathering not only offers a charming social experience but also serves a greater purpose: supporting the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend. The Mad Hatter Mingle provides an exclusive opportunity for community members to come together, enjoy a delightful afternoon, and contribute to the empowerment of local youth through education, leadership, and healthy lifestyle programs.

2025 Steak & Burger Dinner

Join us for the Steak & Burger Dinner: Legends Edition at FSU Student Union, where the community comes together for a Country Western evening that puts youth first—adults enjoy burgers while our young people are served steaks! This event features the inspiring “Charlie Chalk Talk” with local legend Mr. Ward, and serves as a vital fundraiser for supporting our youth programs. Come for the unique dining experience, stay for the camaraderie, and leave knowing you’ve helped empower the next generation to achieve academic success and develop strong character.

Greg McCray Golf Tournament

The Greg McCray Golf Tournament is an annual event that combines the love of golf with the spirit of giving. Golf enthusiasts and community supporters gather for a day on the greens to raise funds for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend. Named in honor of Greg McCray, a dedicated advocate for youth development, the tournament not only celebrates his legacy but also underscores the community’s commitment to providing safe and enriching environments for children and teens. Proceeds from the event directly support programs that foster academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development among club members.
